Group Supports

Tailored groups online and in person for all ages for children across Australia.

It is well evidenced that the most empowering learning tool for children is through the support of their peers. We are strong advocates for group therapy at Shining Minds Therapy. We see the difference it makes, we are passionate about this approach, and we have fun with it!

Groups are led by a speech pathologist and at times supported by an allied health assistant or social worker

Our program targets many skills, including:

  • Introduction to budgeting & money concepts (e.g. identifying sales, knowledge of appropriate prices, shopping within a budget etc.)

  • Body Awareness, Consent and Safety

  • Social & emotional wellbeing skills

  • Responding to daily problems in our community

  • Friendships and relationships

This program is designed for 16-25 years on Central Coast & and is led by a Speech Pathologist and a Social Worker.
